Jackknife empirical likelihood for the mean difference of two zero-inflated skewed populations

چکیده

In constructing a confidence interval for the mean difference of two independent populations, we may encounter problem having low coverage probability when there are many zeros in data, and non-zero values highly positively skewed. The violation normality assumption makes parametric methods inefficient such cases. this paper, jackknife empirical likelihood (JEL) adjusted (AJEL) proposed to construct nonparametric zero-inflated skewed populations. JEL AJEL intervals compared with by normal approximation Zhou (2005). Simulation studies performed assess new methods.
